I absolutely loved working with Ellie on the planning of my wedding. Initially, I thought I could do it all myself but pretty quickly into planning, I realized there were too many details for me to handle myself and many things I didn't know about planning a wedding. “If you’re looking for a detail oriented, industry savvy, resourceful professional wedding planner, then look no further than Ellie Durbin. I am a pretty organized and thoughtful person who loves lists and spreadsheets, but when it came time to plan my wedding, I had no idea what to do or what to expect.
Ellie guided us every step of the way, walking us through things we had never even thought to plan for. She is whip smart, quick on her feet, and for us, most helpfully, she is super realistic and a straight shooter. She really helped us to understand a much needed perspective on logistics and managing our own expectations about the process. “Ellie was instrumental in finding and securing our wedding venue. After understanding our non-negotiables, as well as helping us determine a reasonable budget, Ellie put together a comprehensive list of venues for us. This list included venues with varying characteristics like: a variety of ceremony spaces, our desired location, she even captured venues that matched some of our broader wedding themes. She was there to challenge us when we had spaces that may have not hit key points we outlined, as well as to show us venues that may have never been on our list.
Organizing potential venues in a succinct way let us decide which we wanted to visit and which we could pass on right away.
